i’m so glad rico’s staying in this trap rock/heavy beat rap lane instead of doing the generic boring sounding stuff that’s a dime a dozen, there’s never enough black girls doing actual rock shit & it’s odd tbh bc its such an empty lane you could claim & stand out but i think most ppl/labels are too afraid be unsuccessful and not have mainstream appeal .. there was so much rock/metal/alt artists at award shows n shit back in the day and we have no one now, like nirvana & marilyn manson would perform at mtv actual heavy music and now we have ppl who’ll dress like nirvana & marilyn but sound tame & boring lol, the times just change though it’s a different wave
